No, all I remember is you, but you've admitted to smoking tobacco, so you don't really count (I'm against the use of ALL drugs, legal and illegal). It's also very much beside the point. Legal or otherwise, the larger issue remains one of tyranny, and a people's right to self determination. You're desirous of Big Government. You refuse to acknowledge the lack of recorded fatality owing to use of marijuana. That's dishonesty, since we both know it's a fact. |

That's tantamount to gross deflection. |

You have the biggest problem of all, and with no drug use to excuse you. |

What's my problem? Not having a liberal mindset that makes me feel like people have some sort of right to use drugs? Drugs do nothing but harm users and loved ones. When enough people turn their backs on drug users, society suffers. We're seeing that right now. There are certain countries like Malaysia that have strict zero-tolerance policies when it comes to drugs. If you're caught using or smuggling them, you're given the death penalty. Instead, we just arrest them, make them pay a fine and send them on their way. That's why I don't understand when people say that the majority of prisoners in the U.S. are drug offenders. Unless you're a big-time dealer or grower, you don't get in that much trouble. But this is practically tangential. Analysis of the judiciary goes no way towards resolving the wider issue, which remains legalisation. |
