We were talking about that a couple weeks ago. Still think it would be a good idea to build a canal from Louisiana to Texas. Why not? They built one from the Colorado River over to Phoenix and Tucson; it's called the Central Arizona Project (CAP). They could build another from the bayou to the plains in Texas and call it the BTP! Every time it rained and looked like those levies would break again.....problem resolved. Send it to Tejas! Water those cows! Irrigate those crops!
