Gotta have some belief that they will be able to make some money.

When they have that belief, they'll spend, hire, grow.

Thus the economy grows.

When DC is spending like crackheads, and regulating businesses to the hilt......they don't have that 'faith' that they'll be able to turn a profit. Thus things grow mold.

The only way to create more business owners is to increase consumer demand...

Consumer demand is low because consumers have less disposable income...

Consumers have less disposable income because wages are stagnant...

Wages are stagnant because tea party morons believe that government workers are making too much money...

It's a cascade effect...
