Default End of Ramadan 2011
Ramadan dates change yearly, as the Gregorian calendar is not followed. So this year, Ramadan ends within a day of August 30, 2011 with the DAY OF POWER - Eid al-Fitr occurring the night before, August 29. The belief is that prayers and 'actions' on the Eid al-Fitr are amplified to God..............

Right, no eating, drinking, or sex during daylight hours, then party down at dusk, eat, drink, screw, and smoke the bubble pipe til dawn, then begin the self deprevation again.

I have been in arab lands during ramadan. everyone is pissed, hungry, thirsty, tired, and grumpy. not any fun.

That's why Gulf News is warning people to not go nuts with the sweets and overeating, common on the most celebrated time of the year - the Eid. After a month of hopefully-successful 'self-control', introspection and willpower, the Eid is reckless abandon towards eating and drinking, which puts a big strain on your body which has been basically fasting for a month. Eating & drinking timetables have been distrupted for that Ramadan month, and it's hard on people with different diseases: diabetes, low blood sugar, etc. Celebrating the end of Ramadan with tons of food and its corresponding sweets overloads the pancreas and really wreaks havoc with heath; people go into diabetic comas, some code, and lots just get plain sick with gastric distress. The best thing is to be Moderate. Easy on gulping down massive food and shocking your bod.

You probably don't recall my RAMADAN BEGINS thread either pal, so go easy on your CRS and don't slog down any Irene water, lest you code......and no EMS will come to your aid.

Na. Na. Na. Na. NA. NA. NA. NAAAAAAAHHHAAA.

Weather patterns the past couple years - including this year - have been mostly influenced by LA NINA.
