Ramadan dates change yearly, as the Gregorian calendar is not followed. So this year, Ramadan ends within a day of August 30, 2011 with the DAY OF POWER - Eid al-Fitr occurring the night before, August 29. The belief is that prayers and 'actions' on the Eid al-Fitr are amplified to God..............

I have been in arab lands during ramadan. everyone is pissed, hungry, thirsty, tired, and grumpy. not any fun. |

Right, no eating, drinking, or sex during daylight hours, then party down at dusk, eat, drink, screw, and smoke the bubble pipe til dawn, then begin the self deprevation again. I have been in arab lands during ramadan. everyone is pissed, hungry, thirsty, tired, and grumpy. not any fun. |
