With the conclusion of the Ames straw poll, an Iowa institution that is usually less about the GOP nomination and more about filling time during a slow August news cycle, it's time for Republican primary voters to get serious about supporting the candidate of their choice. But can they even begin to make that choice if some might-be candidates will not fully commit to either running or not running?

But can they even begin to make that choice if some might-be candidates will not fully commit to either running or not running? I think they'll see reason & logic ultimately, but the current narrow & absent mindedness of our opposition is disappointing....gotta remember not everyone has the foresight & logical prowess that I do......... |

Palin, Pataki and Giuliani can continue to "flirt" imo.. No good will come from third string has-beens.
Christie almost has the OPPOSITE problem. Expectations of him are so high, he almost can't help but disappoint someone if he steps up, announces a run and fleshes out his philosophy. He's currently the blank slate candidate, and he benefits greatly from this. |

the overweight guy who went to the hospital w/ chest-pains last week like the overweight am radio guy who went to the hospital w/ chest-pains last year? "That" Christie?
Gov. Christie is taken to hospital after having difficulty breathing http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/201..._to_hospi.html Rush Limbaugh is undergoing a battery of tests today as doctors try to determine the source of the chest pains that sent the popular talk-radio host to the hospital overnight while on vacation in Hawaii. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/rush-limba...ory?id=9453986 He was given a clean bill of health and given a bill for @ $20K. He then said the for-profit HC system worked flawlessly |

DING DING! Hoffa finally gets the cookie. I was imploring others to guess which candidate can ACTUALLY threaten . Giuliani, surprisingly, is viable. He beat Obama by 5% in a national poll recently (source upon request). |

Giulianni is a dog. He fucked over the NY senate race against Hitlary by backing out and he did the same in the presidential primary. He gets a lot of support then bails on everyone at the last minute. Stay away from him. |
