Notice how Obama UTTERLY TROUNCES ANY other GOP candidate. If we're REALLY serious bout firing Obama next year & bringing this great nation back, IT'S MITT ROMNEY.
Still, despite his waning approval ratings in the state, the president leads all but one of his GOP challengers in hypothetical head-to-head general election matchups. He is deadlocked at 44 percent with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt . Before the debt ceiling deal, he led , 46-41. He leads Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, 50 percent to 38 percent (50-36 before the deal) and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, 53 percent to 34 percent (54-33 before the deal). His 13-point lead over Texas Gov. Rick Perry before the agreement dropped to a five-point lead, 44-39, afterward. Notably, independent voters turned sharply against Obama in matchups with and Perry in the wake of the contentious debt ceiling negotiations. Before the deal, Obama edged among independents, 38-37. Afterward, however, independent voters swung for by a 14-point margin (46-32). Similarly, the president led Perry among independents, 48-28, before the deal. But afterward Perry took the crucial voter group, 39-35. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/art...da_110828.html |

I have my reservations....I'll vote for Mitt if Palin doesn't run. I didn't like his weakness on the debt deal. |

Dude what are you talking bout? ROMNEY REJECTED THE DEAL & BACKED CUT, CAP, & BALANCE. He was with the TEA Party there. FAR from weak. Also, the VAST majority of our electorate says Palin aint qualified, & most won't even CONSIDER HER. She aint serious. |

sided with the TEA Party, you're welcome man. Don't nit pick. It's become obvious Palin is a joke now. I still like her personally....but she just aint a serious candidate, & would BE INSTANT PARTY SUICIDE IF NOMINATED. |

I don't doubt you, but she is what this country needs. What it doesn't need is another compromising RHINO. |

AINT a RINO, reactionary propaganda/slander that is. IF Palin could somehow get into the White House...yea for the most party she'd be an awesome President, but man you gotta see the cards, it just aint in it for her. Our electorate has spoken on her already....maybe in 2020. |

I understand and will support if that's the choice....but I still see him as wavering. A true conservative would have never sought a state run health care program. |

State solution for a state problem. opposes a federal mandate for such. He has vowed to lead a repeal of Obamacare. Little reason to doubt em. |

The problem is that it was really never solved and which is probably why he opposes it being implemented on a national scale. However, I will give him the benefit of the doubt if the vote comes down to him or Obama. However, the Republicans really did drop the ball on the debt deal.....where's the reduction in spending? |
