Default Curly bulbs, the left and crony capitalism..
“So some years ago,’’ The New York Times Magazine noted last month, “Philips [Electronics] formed a coalition with environmental groups, including the Natural Resources Defense Council, to push for higher standards.

And this is a common thing, liberals. Big, connected, WEALTHY interests, suddenly become "green" when taking consumer choice out of the picture means fatter margins for them.

You continually fall for this. It's like lucy and the football with you guys.. But you are only furthering the interests of the same corporations you claim to hate.

It amazes me to see you in bed with Wall Street on Carbon Trading.. Paying big, rich energy producers to lose money with windmills.

When will you ever wake up?

Another fantastic example: Since when did it become DC's job to help energy companies do MORE and spend LESS money?

I wish they subsidized my business like that.

How does it feel to be a crony capitalist?

You gonna start wearing a big ole' hat and talking in a southern drawl too, uber?

I mean, we want companies to compete and earn their customers by appealing to them on choice, price & quality. You just want to hand them a plantation to run.. With Main Street as their slaves.

"HEEEEYAH! Buy that light bulb, or I'll whip you again, boy! Buy it I say!"

What next? A Rushx24/7 membership too?

damn..

HOW many times do I have to say it ??????

MONEY has no conscience or political agenda

Money is not right or left, Democrat or republican.

Money is risk management, demographics and marketing…period

If there had been ONE DIME more in profit for Phillips to alight with candle makers and flashlight companies, that would be the trend

If there had been ONE DIME more in profit for McDonals to fry their french fries in recycled motor oil, they would have
