Default Why the Bush Tax cuts failed.
All though history as we cut taxes it creates jobs... That is the bulls hit claim, bull shit, because they are only flash in the pan temp jobs and go away after a year or so...

Why did bush cut so much taxes, and our economy go to total shit...

Simple, taxes do not shit for the economy, and that is not what companies were looking for.

Unlike all other examples of history, this time companies had free access to chinese slave labor, and zero tariffs to bring all that cheap worthless chinese plastic shit into the USA, so they just invested it all in china... And zero job creation in the USA.

You factor out all the war spending, and bullshit obama stimulus spending, and the USA has had zero growth since 1999.

Off shoring and the total elimination of tariffs is why our economy sucks.

They would have done wonders if Bush didn't allow congress to tripple spending at the same time.

The purpose of the Bush Tax Cuts: To let taxpayers at all income levels keep more of the money that they earned.

That's it. And it was wildly successful. Every tax bracket got a cut. Everybody who paid taxes had less to pay the next year.

This thread is over.

They didn't fail. Unemployment was decreased by 30 when Bush cut taxes in 2003.

Yeah.. This denies us the most beneficial thing about tax cuts, and undermines their support.

There was a time that I supported tax cuts for everyone, regardless.. I didn't care who got them. Bill Gates? Fine! Works for me! I couldn't give a shit less!

I didn't care, because it was strangling government. Denying them revenue. Shrinking Government reach.. Or, it was supposed to.

But, as you say.. Bush kept rolling out big ticket items and putting them on the credit card.

The result is that.. Frankly, I couldn't give a shit less if Bush, Rush Limbaugh, or any of them pay a 105% effective tax rate.

Fuck them.. they wanted the wars, the huge government and a globe trotting military. They wanted an army of federal cock grabbers at every airport. Bush wanted drugs for grannies. TARP. Microwave heat weapons to use against crowds here at home, and pallets of (now missing) cash and lavish "Enduring bases" abroad.

Let them pay for it. Take everything they have for all I care.

That ain't what the cretin said...

His premise was that congress created the budget, and that Dubya simply went along...

This of course, is entirely backwards.

He's backpedaling now. You can tell that he went to Wikipedia and looked up the budget process only after he made his initial stupid comment.

He should also remember that from January of 07 on, his guys were in congress.. The previous budget wasn't their doing, but they were right there.. Funding all of Georgie's worst excesses.

Nobody so much as let out a peep about any of it..

The Executive creates the budget...

Congress then goes through resolution and appropriations.

You're back-editing your posts, which is every bit as chickenshit as altering another's post.

I edited to clarify, and prior to your response.. It's hardly some kind of dirty trick.

And Congress is under no obligation whatsoever to adhere to a President's budget.

They can throw it away if they wish..
