Will responded with this: “To say the Constitution is a living, evolving document as you did, is almost oxymoronic,” Will argued. “A constitution is supposed to freeze things. It is an anti-evolutionary device as Justice Scalia said. It is intended to put certain things beyond the reach of transient majorities.” Ever notice how many weasel words and heart string tugs it takes a liberal sheep fucker to mask their true intentions? He may as well just say it: "We don't respect the Constitution as written.. It stops us from accomplishing our goals, so we cast it aside." |

“That’s all great on paper, which is where it’s written,” Dyson shot back. “When it makes the transition from parchment to pavement, there again is the rub. The reality is when I talk about the document being living and vital, I’m talking about the interpretation of it. I’m talking about the meaning of it.” Translation: It's just a goddamned piece of paper, and we can interpret it any way we want.
These fucking assholes have no respect for the Constitution. Just read the comments from the story. I really love the jagoff canard that the technology of the time in any way affects what is written in the document. These fucking idiots don't understand at all that it didn't get into specific topics on purpose, and that it is a framework for limited government, not a book of laws. Liberals are all about ends justifying the means. We all know this by now. The Constitution is an impediment, except when they want to use it to stop something they disagree with. These people simply can't be taken seriously as they are incapable of bargaining in good faith. |

Exactly, bigac.. and libs always want to be half pregnant here.
It's amusing to me to see them rail against the "corpratocoracy" and all the abuse in DC.. when it's their abandonment of these principles that made it possible to begin with. Dumbfucks.. If you don't want money corrupting DC, then you shouldn't have handed them ALL THAT UNCHECKED POWER! Derrrrrrrrrr! DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUR! |

Says the Republican the cheered when the SCOTUS handed the corporations the ability to fund political campaigns at will, and celebrated the decision as a victory over Liberalism... 2) It's only fair as a check against the flood of extorted union money.. You can't have it both ways. 3) If they didn't have the power to pick winners and losers.. Nobody would send them a dime. Fact. |
