This graphic may be a bit alarmist but, given the performance of our representatives in DC.. I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand either..

And who says a one hundred percent tax rate would be a bad thing? You do realize that things will never collapse right? The rich won't let it. It's an illusion man. It's a sick game they play, of having you work, sacrifice, and cooperate, and they just sit on their asses, laughing. We could have universal healthcare, free housing, free everything in this country tomorrow. There wouldn't be shit the bankers or other countries could do to stop it. We have more then enough people and land to self sustain ourselves and our lifestyle. But don't, because sociopaths don't work that way. They do it out of a lust for power, control, and evil. They'd rather kill us all, including themselves, then let progress take course! So I say good. Let the debt ceiling grow, and let's challenge the federal reserve. Call their bluff, put on our po-po-po poker face, and make them rip apart the world economy just to make us pay our "debt". Cause we ain't paying for shit. It's all a facade. In the mean time, the pretentiousness of private ownership shall be lost, work schedules will be less hardship, people will have a better standard of living, and there won't be as many drugs, crime, or homosexuals. Because all the decadence and over indulgence of capitalist society has been dried up because there's no longer a consumer base. Can't have pay for hookers and blow without money. Might be able to barter for it... maybe... I have no idea what you conservatives are afraid of. Your lives are terrible anyway. What's the worse that can possibly happen? You already spend ninety percent of your income on SURVIVAL! Gas to get to work, insurance, food, board... You can't get an education, you can't get out of the rut you're in, you feel trapped, and it's going to be like this forever. Probably worse as you get older, and they want to cut social security and other elderly programs. You're not going to convince me that things could get much worse. ESPECIALLY if socialism and or communism creeps into the system! If there's ever a problem, it's privatizing shit, and letting the market dictate and fuck with people's lives!!! |

No, there's along cartoon. If you have something to say, shouldn't it be credible for your reputation as a poster? 2) I stated that I think it's an overly pessimistic view, but still within the realm of reality. 3) We are facing huge debts.. Tens and tens of trillions. So, even if the graphic isn't perfectly accurate, it hardly means we're out of the fiscal woods... Or that a problem doesn't exist. |
