Because they are on the brink of complete and total meltdown with the inability to feed themselves. Don't know if that's a good enough reason, but that's why. Egypt is beyond fucked. Probably time to write them off for good. It doesn't matter who takes over, that country is headed for complete and utter destruction from within.
