During World War II, our ally that did most of the fighting and dying was the Soviet Union of Joseph Stalin ... If the advancement of our democratic ideals imperils what the U.S. government says are our vital interests, is there not something fundamentally wrong with our Middle East policy?

Saudi Arabia would be the ultimate test.. Would we let such a critical area, as well as their advanced weapons, fall into the fickle hands of its own people?

Or would we attempt to place them back under neocolonialism by whatever means are necessary?
