Jewish Group Praises Catholics For Removing `Holocaust' From Bible JTA A Holocaust survivors' organization praised the Catholic Church for changing a new English translation of the Bible to eliminate the word "holocaust." A statement by Elan Steinberg, vice president of the American Gathering of Holocaust Survivors and their Descendants, issued Monday responsed to the deletion of "holocaust," with a small h, and its replacement by "burnt offerings" in The New American Bible Revised Edition to be released on March 9. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.jta.org/news/article/2011...ocaust-praised |

One more reason why the Bible is all bullshit, written by Jews, for Jews and of Jews for the purpose of enslaving non-Jews, but keep on believing all that bullshit. It's more unrealistic than Jack and the Beanstalk. |

It isn't in The Douay Reihms Bible either (revised 1749-1752), but it is in The New Jerusalem Bible (1966) and The New American Bible (Old Testament 1970). And, if you are a "thinker," you'll want a version like The New Jerusalem Bible anyway. They say it is one of the most accurately translated versions in print. Those are all Catholic Bibles too.
I don't think I've ever seen the word, "Holocaust" in a Protestant Bible: King James Version, New International Version, Young's Literal Translation or The New Living Translation. But, whatever, I get your point, Catholics seem to be kissing some Jew-Butt on that one. Yeah, I guess they are conquered, but you know, not dead and hopefully, never will be. |

Yeah but they're translating from another language and, you know, try reading Dante's Inferno, from The Divine Comedy. That was written less than 800 years ago and there's all these different versions, that all say basically the same thing, but they word it differently. But, they are all translating from Dante's original Italian, which isn't even a dead language like Latin and Ancient Greek and Hebrew. So, you know, it's still written by men, as were the originals. And yet, Dante's story hasn't changed for over 700 years. And that isn't even a miracle. |
