You ever think to yourself: It's such a crying shame that nobody in politics has a sense of humor?
Because Walker could easily manipulate this entire event, if he were willing to. Imagine the following scenarios.. 1) Walker capitulates, and hands the unions a deal that requires a much smaller contribution to their benefits (Let's call it 9 percent) and leaves collective bargaining in place. Then when they return to the state, immediately renege, laugh in their misshapen little faces and call a vote on the original bill. Which will pass easily. For added effect, shake your ass at them as they leave the chamber defeated. Scenario 2) For REAL comedic effect, try to get them fighting one another. I mean, right now it's easy for them to run their mouths. After all, they're boozing it up at a Best Western and basically on vacation. It would be interesting to put a fire under them. Put a price tag on their little outing and make them pay it, personally. Tell them if they're not back by tomorrow.. You're scrapping the current bill in favor of a measure that will jack their contribution rate to a figure equal to the private sector. Collective bargaining on salary will be stripped too. (The only bargaining they are permitted under the current measure) |

Good plan Hoffa. Personally I believe He should fire every union employee that has missed work to protest. Imagine this: If you left your post to go protest, in violation of the law.. We won't fire you. Oh no! No, we're going to jack your contribution to 24%. So, we're rewarding good behavior and punishing poor behavior. So the NEXT TIME somebody comes up with a genius plan to have everyone call in sick, somebody is gonna say: "Well, yeah.. but do you remember what Walker did to strikers in 2011?" My question to you is do think Obama and his admin should be held accountable for any injuries, deaths, acts of violence or vandalism? His official website has asked for protest sympathizers to go to Wisconsin. I don't know that he's liable in any meaningful, legal sense.. But it's completely irresponsible and I'd be sure to highlight that in 2012. |

He should only hire non-union teachers at half the current salary. If a teacher wants her job back she'll have to quit the union. If not, there are plenty of unemployed teachers that would love to earn $50K a year.
Then remind the parents that all their children will have to repeat the grade they are in next year if the teachers don't get back to work. |

I think it would be fun to dress up as one of the protesters and then start vandalizing public property. Also through some eggs at them so they go crazy and start running wild.

I would place a giant piece of cheese at the Wisconsin border. Then when those AWOL Dims come to get it, you drop a big net over them. |

I think it would be fun to dress up as one of the protesters and then start vandalizing public property. Also through some eggs at them so they go crazy and start running wild. It's "throw some eggs...." by the way.... sorry OCD. The next step will be to initiate a performance based bonus pay system that union employees are ineligible for because their wages are set by the collective contract. The best union teachers would then drop out of the unions for the incentives. Then the remaining mediocre and sub-par teachers in the unions will have very little real negotiating power left.
