It will be the same as it always is..... a compromise that won't actually accomplish anything other than giving both sides something to brag about to their retarded bases. And basically try to co-opt everything into the same faggy entropy that's gripped the R's as long as I have been alive. |

Ya know, because.. basically, deep down.. I don't like the Neos and I don't like the country club types who were happy to sit it out in the cold for half a century.
I don't trust them. They WANT entropy and stagnation. I truly believe many of them hold elites from other side of the isle in higher esteem than the people who voted for them and sent them there. I'm just about through with this shit. If they don't deliver, I'll show up to vote in local elections and write in "Osama Bin Laden" for President. |

Probably.. I'm worried there will be a backlash, where the establishment R's rake the noobs over the coals, claiming that they've gone too far.. and don't understand how DC works. The problem with politicians is that their top priority is their career and financial gain rather than the country. I really hate to be so cynical about all things political but I have no faith in any of the miserable fucks. The two party system, with no restriction on term limits, is doomed to the same old shit. |

It seems like any new person that really stands for anything is considered 'unelectable." "Oh, NO! We need somebody like JOHN MCCAIN! Who can WORK with the OTHER SIDE!!!" And you end up with someone the left won't elect, and the right doesn't want. |

Reps and Dems both are all elitists. Can you think of a single federal level politician that isn't rich, or at least way better off than the average citizen? They don't give a damn about any of us, only themselves and their elitist pals. They have nothing but thinly veiled contempt for Main Street America. In their view, it's us who need them. |

That p.o.s. Ted the turd Kennedy (may he burn in hell) was a prime example. For half a century the Democrat lemmings regarded that fat fuck as some sort of hero for the working class. Somehow I doubt ole' Ted ever invited any blue collar people to go sailing around on his yacht. |

Your concern about the old guard Pubs is valid. But just look around at what is going on in Wisconsin. This is huge! And other states are going to follow. Even NY might join in and they have a Dim governor who wants to be president.
There are also a few dozen states that will outlaw nObamacare. That's another welcome sign that the youngbloods have a lot of support. I think Wisconsin is the place to watch though. The outcome of this battle will determine the state of politics for generations. And it will shape the Repub party. |

Even NY might join in and they have a Dim governor who wants to be president. Decades of let downs have a Pavlovian sort of effect on anyone who bothers to compare their rhetoric with their actions. For YEARS it was "Well, gosh golly.. Those retched democrats are stopping our agenda! If only we had the power, we'd do something but, gosh-golly.. We just can't!" When they finally got the whole ball of wax, they spit in our faces and threw it away. George W Bush and his country club pals presided over that and nearly destroyed the Republican brand. Currently, the only thing preventing outbursts of laughter when they speak of "The Constitution" and "Limited Government" is the Tea Party. |

It's ironic that the very people who harped on freedom, the constitution and limited government were the very people who came up with the Patriot Act. In fact, there's a school of thought that says the LAST THING a wise pol will do is actually solve a problem.. Because then you lose the leverage it provides. Such people are too smart by half... Reagan didn't become a Conservative icon by refusing to address issues and deflecting. |
