All this hysteria is based on a study from HERE. Alternet Faggots claim this because: * 91 percent believe the stimulus legislation lost jobs It passed, he wasted a bunch of money bailing unions out, and unemployment went up. What more do you need to know? * 72 percent believe the health reform law will increase the deficit This is based on a CBO score. One thing about the CBO, they operate under constraints. They are only permitted to score in the manner they are directed to score. Meaning, it's just like any other mathematical operation. You dump garbage in, and you get garbage out. Regardless, though.. I don't think anyone really believes Obama Care will reduce the deficit. By the time he's done with freebies for niggers, there's no way this won't end up just like Social Security and Medicare.. a Net loss. * 72 percent believe the economy is getting worse This is based on commerce department data.. But that is certainly not the only valid metric in play here. Unemployment went up.. So it's worse if you are unemployed, isn't it? Maybe these people just returned from the gas station? Or the supermarket? Or got a pink slip? BTW, if the economy is so fucking great, why did unemployment rise to 9.8 percent? * 60 percent believe climate change is not occurring Suck it, Al. We're slated to get between 3 and 5 inches of global warming before tomorrow morning. * 49 percent believe income taxes have gone up Obama and the dems dithered till the last possible second on the Bush Tax Cut extension, and they sit around wringing their hands over this "Misinformation" Further, the summary just says "Taxes" and Obama wants to tax everything in sight. Obama Care is a tax. It's law. Yes, their taxes went up.. and they are going up some more. Do you smoke? Anyone care to take a stab at what Cap & trade is, if not another tax he's pushing? * 63 percent believe the stimulus legislation did not include any tax cuts They must have missed their 8 dollars a week, or 12 or whatever it was. Thanks, Obama. ![]() * 56 percent believe Obama initiated the GM/Chrysler bailout Obama didn't initiatiate the talks, but he saw to it that GM got a Hundred Billion Dollars, and he got his stupid car.. I wonder why folks would be confused about that? * 38 percent believe that most Republicans opposed TARP Granted.. * 63 percent believe Obama was not born in the U.S. (or that it is unclear) lol.. Where's the birth certificate, nigger? Another thing that alternet failed to adequately address, is the effect Liberal Media has on public (and especially democrat) perceptions.. On the other hand those who voted Democratic were more likely to incorrectly believe that: it was proven to be true that the US Chamber of Commerce was spending large amounts of foreign money to support Republican candidates (voted Democratic 57%, voted Republican 9%); Obama has not increased the level of troops in Afghanistan (51% to 39%); and Democratic legislators did not mostly vote in favor of TARP (56% to 14%). |
