Exploring the Meaning of ‘Constitutional Conservatism’
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/12/02/op...=1&ref=opinion The phrase is connected to a radical vision. (The Web site of Mike Lee, the Republican senator-elect from Utah, touted him as a constitutional conservative and, as The Times reported, he “views much of what the federal government currently does as unconstitutional.”) But the statement is a vague, highly selective catchall. It makes no mention of “We the people,” of forming “a more perfect union” or pursuing “the general welfare” ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ... The anger felt by those who favor constitutional conservatism is potent. Call the slogan vague. Call it arrogant. ![]() |

Social justice can have an integral element in changing the cultural paradigm. You guys may think it's counter productive to give grants and create financial programs for the poor, negros, and mexicans. But what do mexicans, the poor, and blacks all have in common?
They all are distant toward homosexuals. Therefore, make liberal immigration, give blacks "Obama money" as they'd put it, and glorify the poor. Encourage the people that denounce homosexuality, and soon we will smoke them out of hiding, then shoot to kill. |
