According to Bloomberg news service, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner met with Stewart at the Daily Show host's New York offices in April. And according to a Treasury spokesperson, it wasn't a social visit.
“Jon Stewart is influential in America, so we took the opportunity for the two to meet and to discuss the economy,” Treasury spokesman Steve Adamske told Bloomberg's Ian Katz in an email. http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2010/11/g...ewart-economy/ |

Stewart is a smart guy, he does incredibly in depth, non comical interviews. He really asks the serious questions. He is very good at giving credit where credit is due.
He recently had Chris Wallace on, he opened by Congratulating him on Fox's election coverage being the best, and goes on to say that Fox News has the best programming of any of the networks. He's not a Socialist, or even a Liberal. Jon Stewart is Very Moderate. http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/we...nded-interview |
