Default People who are Unemployed, Lower your Standards!
These Unemployed people on 60 minutes are talking about looking for jobs, and their standards are too high. They are applying for jobs that require college degrees, that have thousands of applicants per job. They need to lower their standards, Did they think just because they went to college that means they are destined to make more than anybody else? Well, they were wrong, go work at Burger King.

HAHAHAHHAHA... their cries are music to my ears.

I LOVE to hear empty headed 20 somethings scream about their college debt and the employment situation.

What the fuck DID YOU EXPECT TO HAPPEN? You take on a couple of HUNDRED GRAND in debt and think you're OWED a job for your effort? Just because you went to college?

I actually heard one young negress suggesting that the government should FORCE people to retire at a certain age so her generation could have their job!

This generation is arrogant to a fault..

When I was growing up, I remember the Assistant Manager position at McDonalds requiring a degree.

That's right! That's how hard it was..

You little fuckers don't have anything but a credential at this point.. and no experience doing anything useful.

Or government..

I don't mean to sound harsh, but I am SICK TO FUCKING DEATH of a bunch of empty headed know-nothings waving their pieces of paper around and assuming they are owed something.

The richest guys I ever knew personally are all three millionaires. None went to college and none were born into privilege.

The very people these brats are begging for jobs now.. If they didn't know them, or were aware of how much money they have they would be laughing at them and calling them uneducated bumpkins.

Maybe entitlements are creating a lack of empathy. I'm also bothered that college might prepare you for a scientific job, or large corporate job, but seems to do a shitty job of preparing people for small/medium size business jobs, which are the most abundant.

I'm with you. It sucks to be unemployed, but when you've been unemployed 99 weeks, it's time to start lowering your standards. Do a minimum wage job that pays the bare minimum, it's better than nothing. We don't live in that world anymore, there isn't a good job for everyone, so take a bad one.

Exactly..

Years ago, I took part time job once as a counter sales person for an electronics chain.. For minimum wage.

And I prayed about it.

I ended up over their operations in three states.

It's called effort..

A lady I know took a part time job at Taco Bell, of all places.. Like in a store.. Making tacos and working the drive up window. Exactly the sort of person snot nosed kids would laugh at.

Last I knew they were paying her 80 grand a year.

Well, well, well, another position I agree with. I also believe those leeches on welfare should go squat on government property and live off the land as the injuns used to do.

Yes they're quite retarded...

Alvin Greene has a degree too but I wouldn't let him mow my lawn..

Degrees are absolutely meaningless these days, as a matter of fact I view degrees as something negative, a degree implies to me that individual is brainwashed or was able to tolerate attempts of brainwashing...

Long gone are the days where extensive knowledge is only at universities, this is the internet age and information is absolutely abundant from all perspectives.

What people SAY on 60 minutes to cover their pride is very unlikely to be the truth.

Everyone I know who is desperately job hunting has lowered their expectations.. In fact they did so many months ago.

I think that's going a bit far. If you were hiring Doctors, you wouldn't go with the one with a college degree. College does also teach practical skills, along with brainwashing.

I can read and I have access to books. All a degree proves is that one has been brainwashed.

Its a proof to society...

I'd be willing to bet I'm more qualified to perform a surgery than a "medical doctor" In 1840...

For what its worth, I'm well educated in physiology and biology....

I'm not a medical doctor and I will NEVER perform an operation unless I have to....

Yeah, but this isn't 1840!
