Controversy of this is way too overblown. Yes, they do use words like Al-Qaeda and Taliban, but the game paints the troops as pure heroes. Here is an example of that:
We should get behind messages like this, because the games competitor "Call of Duty" actually portrays the US as the bad guys, showing scenes of US Marines pouring gasoline on innocent people and lighting them on fire. Instead, this game gives a realistic look at what soldiers go through in Afghanistan. Do Taliban sometimes kill the Americans, yes. I don't see how this is any more offensive in a game then it would be in a movie, like The Hurt Locker. |

My kid days were in the 80's, but yes these games are way fucking awesome.
I loooove the violence. I love it so much. I kill fuckers and paint the walls with thier blood. But, I have learned it is easy to die as well. fuck I die all the time. war is hell man. I seen a lot of good men die... boo hoo boo hoo. |

I'm 30, I'd rather read. This is one of the few games I've played, on a friends computer, for a very long time. |
