Hungarians have similar levels of arabic as spaniards : For example at DodecadK12b, the southwest-asian (peaks in Arabs) is 3-4% in spaniards and 3% in Hungarians. The two european components Atlanto-Med and Norther-European we have :
Hungarians : 75.5 Spaniards : 76.0 It's quite thight. On genetic plots with an axis on middle-east levels, the Hungarians are infact closer to spanish : ![]() |

-Antiquity to Early Middle Ages: Due to the fact that Hungarians arrived in Europe in 895, they missed 2 critical periods in European history: the Roman empire and the Germanic invasions. ![]() |

Man your knowledge of history is quite shittiy. Spain was the largest and most powerful empire in the world between 1500-1800 I might vote in this poll, but it would be just for shits and giggles. ![]() |

I would say it's impossible to say because people populated Europe from 2 different directions. People repopulating from Ukraine/Russia, and the other Mediterranean - perhaps Italy/Spain.
Other than having a darker than average complexion that Raul Gonzalez guy has typical western features, even the big nose. If I had to choose, probably go with Spaniards, perhaps a little bias on my part. Though, in this definition I would say "native European", rather than white, as blonde hair probably came into Europe from the east. |

Anyone doubting this, the Atlantic facing countries had the most powerful empires and owned colonies (within Europe in modern history). Spain, Portugal, France, UK, Netherlands. Not only is this historical fact, but common sense as well. Germany, Hungary, Central Europe..etc had no colonies and were highly disadvantaged position wise, and had no real navy.
Seems like some people have too much pride and are trying to rewrite history as it suits them. |

Both with and against Austrians. Hungarians were a very important part of Habsburg empire even before Austria became Austro-Hungary. I won't even mention their arrival to Europe and fight against Turks. |

Figth against Turks ? The Battle of Lepanto was won thanks mostly to spanish. Let's be honest: Spain has always had a dominant role in the history of Europe, while Hungary has been mostly a 'quite' country. Spain is in the group of the big guys : France, UK, Netherlands.. |
