they will get very surprise, since we dont have much chilangos here and because un guero gringo is speaking it.

What part of the states are you going to visit?
I'm going with my friend. First we'll go to Hermosillo for a week, then Tijuana, crossing into SoCal. I plan to visit LA, Frisco and Oakland, then I'll take a flight to Florida to visit my cousins in Orlando, and then I plan to go to Michigan to visit a childhood friend from my native city Kazan who recently established himself there. Then GTA in Canada, and finally visiting my friend's girlfriend that lives in Alberta in Edmonton.

When you go to Tijuana, dont forget to try our famous TostiLocos, they are really good.

Also go to Calle Revolucion and playas de tijuana, for shopping go to Plaza Rio. Tijuana is where i spend most of my weekends, if you need a good place to eat there, ill give you a few names. Tijuana also uses dollar.

I remember my visit to Mexico for a month and two weeks -- mostly best time of my life and a culture shock.

I'll do that, and I won't just speak as an average chilango. I'll use the barriobajero naco tepito style slang for stronger WTF reactions.

Actually, I'm planning to go to the states this summer.
Is the chilango accent strongly present anywhere? I though chilangos are the group of mexicans that almost don't move to the states.
thanks for the voice recording, I've been wanting to hear your accent again since you posted it in the voice thread. I worked with a chilango but his slang wasn't as extreme. The fact that you speak that way but are white makes it interesting!

I will ask them, most of my family in Mexico City are med looking more then anything.
