Because they AREN'T intelligent. Just because these kids pass some test at a young age doesn't make them "the smartest".

Instead, show me where blacks have invented or discovered something of value, or created amazing civilizations or built huge monuments WITHOUT whiteys help.

Just look at what's going on every damn time they are left to govern themselves. EVERY DAMN TIME. Anywhere from Harlem in the US to Cape Town in South Africa. Or Haiti. Whitey leave and it becomes a society filled with crime. Or maybe some of you view that as success.

Forget about their low IQ, just look at their achievements as a people - compared to other races of the world.

I have only known one Nigerian in my life. Not sure what his ethnicity was. He was an Oracle DBA. Pretty smart guy. He left the company and I heard he went back to Nigeria.

I am talking about people as a race, not induviduals.

Just take the television for example, and study it carefully, about 95% of the pioneers who led the early development of the television were of European descent. It's just a fact. But it doesn't stop there, take a look at the aircraft(airplane, helicopter), spaceflight, steam engine, electrical engine, gasoline engine, computer, electricity, lol, this is almost embarrassing,... I don't need to continue.

There's a thread about this, is the US multi-cultural. Europeans seemed to think not, because our immigrants are more assimilated. I think many UK immigrants are assimilated also. The ones who post here seem to be.

My understanding about Nigerians indicates that many of them are extremely bright people. We had a Nigerian student in my medical school class. He was a very bright guy.

Now, what I wonder is how Nigeria as a nation fares relative to other African countries? I mean, it seems Nigerians are among the brightest SSAs, and it would be reasonable to assume that Nigeria itself is probably more developed technologically speaking...as well as sociologically speaking, in that human rights issues are less problematic there than they would be in say....Sierra Leone.

Seems like your taking pride in inventions from your "race" rather than culture. All Americans have their own ethnic culture, regional culture, etc. Even then, what reason do you have to take in the pride of some random Anglo-American's inventions? Because you happen to share some type of ethnic ancestry?

Where does it stop and begin anyways? Can a ethnically mixed white American take pride in the inventions of random Italians, Englishman, Irish, etc? Can a Scottish American take pride in the inventions of an English American? Can a random "white American" take pride in the inventions of various white Americans of various ancestries?

Like Ghostfacekilla, I see no reason to take pride in some random South Asian's inventions. It seems to imply I have nothing of my own doing to take pride in which I find pathetic.

I could understand if it was someone you were closely related to but not some random individual of the same "race" as you. You're entitled to take pride in whoever you want but don't be surprised if some people think of your behavior as pathetic.

Also, I'm not fond of people showing excessive ethnic pride either. Sure, be proud you're German-American, Italian-American, Chinese-American, Korean-American, Mexican-American, Lebanese-American, etc. but be proud of being American first.

It's a bit different when you're talking about people living in their indigenous countries but then again, unlike others on here, I'm not fond of nationalism either.
