 Over time, will groups which we consider attractive change? (read info)
In my experience living in the US and in the west I see that there is a totem pole. In terms of physical attractiveness, it goes kind of like this.
For men: Most Attractive = Southern European men from places like Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Some French can also count. Least Attractive = Asian men or Brown men (non-Latinos). Whether they are Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Korean, Pakistani, whatever. For women: Most Attractive = Scandinavian women or women with light features. Basically from places like Sweden, Norway, Germany, Holland or Denmark. To put it in a blunt manner, BLONDES. Least Attractive = Black women These aren't my preferences, I always had a thing for White females with darker features. Rather, this is what I have found to be true through experience, online articles, and just having lived life here in the US. Now say 40 years down the road from now. Will Southern European men and Scandinavian women still occupy the top of the ladder in terms of attractiveness? I also want to say that regardless of background, anyone can be attractive. But generally speaking, Southern European men and Blonde women are just viewed as significantly more attractive than other groups. From my experience and from online articles. Even if they are somehow not at the top generally, it is hard to debate that they are not near it. |

I think it's going to change . It will be :
-For women : Most Attractive = Jessica Alba, Lucy Hall Rihanna, Megan Fox, Kardashians types, Basically southern european girls, latinas, oriental girls, mullata girls, ethiopian girls . Pred european features, dark blonde to black hair, green eyes . Thoses types :           Least Attractive = Extreme Pale skin or Extreme dark skin For men : Most Attractive = I think it would be very diverse . Tan Northern european .Blonde hair to black hair, light eyes to dark eyes . Also eurasian guys seems to be very popular . Same for blackmen and maghrebi. About the southern european as ideal, they aren't very popular here in northern france, so I don't think that will change . Least Attractive = Asians, Australoid, extreme pale skin dude. ------------------- Even girls stop to dye their hair blonde, for color them brunette . I think blonde are seen as the most attractive in countries where they are rare (USA) . Here, they aren't rare, so they are just seen as average . The most wanted girls here are that type :  For men it's that type :

I'd think for women the beauty ideals will revert back to more curvacious types in the future, as a counter to the ultra-skinny ideal that still lingers on in the 2010s.
But as we're talking about phenotypes here, I think the mainstream will keep favouring the girls we see today (brownish to pinkish, sometimes pale-skinned). I do notice that due to integration of immigrants and mixing that attractive Mediterrenean-looking women become more prevalent, also in typically blonde regions like the Northern/Western Netherlands, and maybe that will become an ideal. I see beauty ideals also as something 'boring', something that doesn't stand out too much. Least attractive will be considered: Indian and dark-skinned Black women (which I find a shame for the latter, because dark-skinned ones look more beautiful in my taste). Same with men: the same ideals will remain existent. I think men from all corners of the world are good to go except Indians and East Asian, maybe Black men too. Many women seem to prefer Eurasian men for some reason and I doubt this is subject to any change too soon. |

question about Indian males, do you believe the bollywood looking light brown Indian will fare better than the average indian or just as well? I notice I like Indian women of that color a lot |

I think it is mostly bullshit. Preference is subjective and it varies from people to people. Most people stick to their own kind.
What TV says no one cares, in the last years people drop TV for internet. TV says that the Kardashians, Rihana and Angelina Jolie are pretty, honestly i dont know anyone in the real life that find them extremely pretty or pretty at all in some cases. Deep down people have preferences that differ from TV and media, Victoria Secret girls are considered the most pretty but while drinking with other guys most of them confess that they have fantasies with other kind of girl, more average. In the Future beauty standards will be more democratic (less TV/Fashion Model authority) and people will probably more attach to their own due to the lack of brainwashing. |

Myself I prefer indian peoples with medium brown skin and a bit darker , not extreme dark, but dark could be ok . Those types : This seems more representative of an above average in terms of looks phenotype in the region.
