Japanese are an admixture of more ancient indigenous Jomon era people on the island and more recent migrations from the East Asian mainland in the 1500-2500 years ago range. It is reflected in their DNA and also supported with historical evidence.

As for the OP I'm thinking Andaman Islanders are the purest from being the most isolated for the longest.
