"Since y'all like it over here a lot. and I'm saying, if I'm speaking out of line, let me know. But I'm saying it appears to me, y'all like it over here a lot. And let me tell you why I'm making that assumption, because I have no right to make that assumption. But understand this, this what gives me the right, and don't you get it twisted... If y'all had California and you loved it, then you shouldn't have given that mothaf*cka up. You should have fought for California, goddamnit, since you love it..
Because you think I'm dissing Mexico and I'm defending America. Are you Mexican? Do you know where Mexico is? No this ain't Mexico, it used to be Mexico, motherf*cker, and now it's Phoenix, goddammit. USA! USA! F*ck you back, n*gga. i bet you dont even go to mexico, motha f*cka... no n*gga, do you know where you at? USA! USA! I dont give a f*ck. no n*gga, this is my hood... [security comes] F*ck him! Mothaf*ckas think they can live in this country and pledge allegience to another country... do you remember when white people used to say go back to Africa? And we'd have to tell them we dont want to? So if you love Mexico, bitch, get the f*ck over there! [breaks into the National Anthem].. We were slaves bitch, you just all work like that at the landscapers... It's not even racial -- you're a bitch! I don't give a f*ck what race that is, that's a p*ssy." What do you think? Out of line? Is he right? |

He makes sense and I can actually understand what he is saying *amazing*,
It's true Mexicans in USA should become Americans at heart. I don't go to soccer matches between USA vs Mexico because all of the Mexicans come out to support Mexico, They should support the American team if they want to live here. With younger generations though they are embracing becoming Americans, so it will not be a big issue soon unless we continue to allow more and more newcomer Mexicans. |

Agree with Dave... majority of the multi-generational Mexican-Americans are perfectly happy to be Americans. They may maintain some Mexican culture, but prefer an American national identity to a Mexican one. This is true among 2nd generation Mexicans I have known, who still have close family back in Mexico, and is especially true among descendants of former Mexicans who have been Southwestern Americans for 100+ years. They are, in fact, some of the more hardcore anti-immigration people.
These college kids who are 3+ generations into being American, claiming Mexican nationalism, are a bunch of posers. |

Meh, Kat williams is an ass, and he is a closet gay. Not that i goty anything against homosexuality Im just putting that out there cause he is a super sweetie. People should be able to support whoever they want. They should be able to be mexican at heard and take all the wealth they want from America...F that. If i was "Mexican" i would root for Mexico vs America too. I nearly rooted for Ghana over USA....and so what? I am still American, a good American too, one who votes for higher taxes.
For the record, I like Mexicans. I like thier culture and food. I like the fact that they are here too, and I dont care if they are here illegally (workers not violent criminals). If you risk coming through the desert..... |

Southern US states belong to Mexico, well get 'em back one way or the other.....
![]() ![]() Naah j/k. I think is somehow domb that mexicans living in US and wanting to become US citizens fly mexicans flags in every attempt they have... I mean thats stupid.... If I were in the states and wanted to adopt that country as my new homeland I'd adopt the culture and the patriotic symbols of such nation instead of flying mexicans flags in front of the very same faces of american people..... If it were otherwise..(a bunch of illegal aliens doing that in Mexico, mexicans would feel pissed off). |

i don't know who Katt Williams is and I don't care, but that sort of "ranting" is never appropriate. That just shows what sort of person he is. (Probably one of those "conservative" assholes that get old people riled up, am I correct?)
I think that people should respect the country that they live in, but I don't give a poop which soccer team they root for. Just as long as they aren't breaking any laws here. |

To me it looks like the Irish flag on Saint Patrick's Day or the Italian flag on Columbus Day, nostalgic symbolism, not real nationalism.
As far as cheering for people at sports events, really, who gives a damn. This is like when Indian Hindus and Christians complain about Indian Muslims cheering for Pakistan in cricket or football. Really, who cares. Also, supporting needy relatives in another country does not equal treason. The more important things are when you vote, or rack a round into the chamber, who's national interests are you representing? If the answer isn't USA, then that's where I see a problem, regardless of origins. |

This whole thing goes way beyond sports and superficial patriotism. If any immigrant wants to be a true citizen of thief country they have to accept that is what they are. They could be proud or their roots but not hostile about it. |

I don't know much of Katt Williams' material. I just saw one bit where he was (not in a malicious way) making fun of white people, and how they answer the phone when it's a wrong number. As a white person I found it kind of funny, actually, because I know people like that and probably have done that myself.
I tend to laugh heartily at ethnic jokes about us, though. Life's no fun if you can't laugh at yourself. Dave Chappelle's joke about white people not wanting to talk about who they're voting for cracked me up too... "Hey! Don't ask me who I am voting for, that is too personal!... so I was fucking my wife in the ass last night and...." ![]() |
