Sadly, I agree, it wasn't so in your face when i was younger and would visit, but as time has gone on Turkey is becoming more and more obviously anti-semitic. They are paranoid about outside forces.

I put a lot of the blame on the current government and the media (controlled by the govt) for this happening.

I was just making a point :
Greece has much more racism than Turkey, but Britain is much more tolerant, so then should we say "Turkey is a -in the middle type racist country?"
that you can't compare racism to other countries, that it should be measured and analysed within its own borders
