Default So there can be beautiful full Euro women, but not beautiful fully African women?
That's a bunch of bull...like argh. I just...it's my pet peeve the way some act like there can't possibly be a beautiful Black African woman without having admixture or beautiful Black African people period.

Obviously there are many beautiful fully black women. It's just some people's perceptive standard of beauty that makes it seem like there aren't many. So, I wonder...is it better to judge how beautiful you are as a woman more by how pretty you actually are (and feel) or by how other people perceive you? I guess it all depends on our individual consciousness. The most beautiful women in the world have been called ugly, even though they were quite pretty.

The funny thing is I see beautiful white women with more obvious admixture, but yet their whiteness is never questioned(unless it's super obvious), but a clearly fully black women who is deemed beautiful by others blackness is questioned...just for being beautiful. It's always, "what is she mixed with? is she mixed with asian, white?"

I don't find full Afro women beatiful. But if it makes you feel better I don't find full Euro women to be beatiful either.

If someone is 75% Native and 25% Caucasian it's ok to me. 80% Native and 20% Afro can be acceptable to me in the same way.

^^ Just that ^^

Doctoris Scientia posted several pics of fully black women- many I didn't like I must confess- but there were several that were definitely beautiful. Like I told my fellow Puertorican member JibarodePR (who has african genetic heritage)when he was confronted with my mate selection preferences: "You dont need me to like you for you to like yourself" I think that is why I pretty much liked what wickedgirl posted. Don't be paying attention to that woman

The beauty standards are different here in the west than they are in africa. What is seen as beautiful in africa may not be seen as attractive to a westerners eyes.. granted there are definitely beautiful african women out there and doctor scientia already proved that awhile back. But most americans idea of what africans look like is something like this.

http://www.culturequest.us/maasaitri...MasaiWomen.jpg

I think that the ideal skin tone and coloration in america is sort of a bronzed/light brown color, thats why you see white people going to such lengths to get tanned (think jersey shore). That ideal seems to fit best with lighter skinned, and therefore more likely mixed aframs. That doesnt really jive well with the wests notion of what africans are supposed to look like (atleast in their minds). You also have to ask what is it you mean by mixed? Because technically many aframs are mixed to some extent, though over multiple generations. Thats different than someone who has a white parent and a black parent or an asian parent and a black/white parent etc.

I personally feel that mixed people, really regardless of race, tend to come out looking relatively attractive. Maybe because introducing another ethnicity in there can serve to either soften otherwise hard features or make someone with a rather plain look a bit more interesting.. does that make me racist? Idk. I really don't care.. I just know I haven't met many mixed girls who were bad looking, a good 2/3rd of them were pretty sexy. But that doesnt mean there arent pure bloods out there who aren't attractive (take me for instance ) i think it boils down to the fact that people are just ignorant to the range of looks a race can have and basically lump all africans into the superdark nilotid type. its whatever, don't think to much of it, don't let it get you down and all that.

The ones who always insist that Afro descended women must have non-Afro ancestry to be attractive always bring up Halle Berry and Vanessa Williams to make their case. They never acknowledge the mere suggestion that Halle's and Vanessa's beauty can be attributed to their African ancestry. So they play up Halle's and Vanessa's non-Afro heritage and practically deny they have any African characteristics, even though it is obvious to everyone, including them.

It's all what tickles your fancy, there are many full black woman who are considered beautiful. Some non blacks may not be as attracted to them as to members of their own race. But for what they are , they are beautiful, just different.
