Are the Mongolians closer to the Russians or the Chinese?

I know they have their own culture but i wonder if that culture is similar to the Chinese or the Russians.,
Watching Mongol music videos i think the have many elements of the Russian culture but i dunno.

Really? they are not even Muslims and the language is different.

Northern Chinese definitely, southern Chinese not so much.

Mongols are close to Russia only because they were a Russian satellite for decades. Even their alphabet was changed to cyrillic.
