Does real hot japanese really exist ?

Peoples here have the japanese fever since few years, and peoples here like say : japanese peoples are hot, because japanese rock singers and pop singers are hot. But the "japanse looking" who are show in the media is a fake "looking" , nothing with the real japanese looking

Most of the before pictures are low resolution embarrassing school photos which are unfair and exaggerated depictions and the after pictures are evidently enhanced via photoshop. It's an interesting question you pose considering the commonplace of plastic surgery in East Asia, but I think (even beyond the terms of political correctness) there are most certainly "really hot" japanese. Aya Ueto is one Japanese woman who I can think of who has had the same face since she was very young, and there is little to dispute her beauty.

Many if not most of the people there actually looked better before they had plastic surgery. Besides that, often a rather unflattering photo (who doesn't have that of himself?) was chosen to compare it with to a professional photo shoot, so it's rather unfair, too.

Hot people of every nationality exist.

Famous people from any country are likely to have work done. Nobody wants to look average, and in Japan, where they have a fascination with Western culture, nobody wants to look like the typical boring Japanese person, so the rich and famous do what they need to do in order to look attractive.

I'm sure there are probably attractive Dinkas, Samoans, Inuits, and Pygmies.

Very interesting. I was going to comment about this, but more oriented toward porn (my area of expertise) I was browsing for japanese titles the other day and while boob jobs seem to be the rule in american pr0n, eyelid surgery seems to be the one in japan pr0n.

Um....can't the same be said of pretty much any nation that has a wider reaching audience of its media?

There are people out there who think the same thing about Americans. And I can assure you our Hollywood stars aren't natural or representative of our population.

I agree with you, when you said celebrity are not representating of average peoples. But, when you see french celebrity they are really representative of average french, except less beautiful, but you can have an idea of the phenotype. For the japanese example it's different

Its pretty bad in SK too, some of the pop Idols and actor/actresses are really ugly without makeup and they were hideous before plastic surgery.

I agree with you, when you said celebrity are not representating of average peoples. But, when you see french celebrity they are really representative of average french, except less beautiful, but you can have an idea of the phenotype. For the japanese example it's different

It wasn't the aim, I have nothing against japanese. It's just most of french peoples has never seen a japanese in their life, except on tv, and on TV , in the manga japanese looks white european, and in media the looks asian influence european. It's the only view of them we have of their phenotype. When I was younger I thinked japanese looked more eurasian than the average of asian. And many peoples here thinks that.

You are probably young. During my youth, we watched those old shool tokusatsu shows, like Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, etc. The shows from the 80's show ordinary non-sirurgically enhanced Japanese beauty, IMO.

Nowadays people watch more those soap operas or those boy bands where the guys look like girls.

by the way, comparing crappy school pictures with studio + make up photos is not the best way to point out the differences

and at least these SK don't look like freaks after their operations

but I've read that many HK actors made plastic surgery to look caucasian in the 80's
so it's was already a trend in East Asia
