Depends the source. One can hear Albanian, Yoruk Turk or even Jewish. (doenmeh) His parents were behaviourally different supposably, during his childhood in Salonika. His mother was most probably a Yoruk Turk, or Albanian or something a rather. His father i think may have had the surname 'Riza' which certainly is a suspicious one. Gathering from what i have read, it is a possibility his father had crypto-Jewish roots. Few sources alledge Ataturk could recite a few Jewish verses and that he claimed descent for Zabtei Vey, a nutter who basically claimed to be a messiah and lead on some followers into Islam after being forced to convert or be killed. Ofcourse he claimed it was gods will. His father (rather anti-religious also) was also the one who suggested he should make the transition from a certain school to a more cosmopolitan/Jewish school, which boasted a more western practice. It is likely in any case he grew up around many Jews and had a soft spot for them, atleast so it seems, but its hard to trust what you read regarding him. So my understanding is probably way off from the truth.

His father shares more Asiatic features than his mother imo. How comes? Are there tangible evidences?

yes jewish school makes many ppl suspecious about if his father was a jew donme.
There is no certain source about it. they say selanik records burnt during the war so they lost the records about ppls origins lol. I believe its because of they have something to hide... or somebody important as him should have detailed records about his past. I believe his mom was probably yoruk turk but I bet his father was albanian or donmeh root most likely.

he was half ethnic albanian why do you deny that what is so wrong about it? I would understand it if he was at least 3/4 turkish but his father was albanian.

Like I have told many others and will do again with you. Turkic (turkish) is not defined by race, it is defined by heart.

Compare Ataturk with Turkey's current leader, there's a clear difference, one is euro and the other is middle-eastern,but I don't care and turks care even less(although it's nice to troll with such stuff ofc). As I stated before on this forum, regarding the subject of ethnicity, blood is not important in determining how one feels about his/her ethnicity. I saw a documentary about genetics on TV,'they' went to NY city to take samples from people, and at the end one afram(who said that he was 100% black african and nobody in his family ever mentioned/knew anything about europeans) was sitting together with his genetic kid,and his genetic kin were all euro-whites, and one muslim turk discovered he had some jewish origins,I don't think these people couldn't sleep nights when they got home with their newly discovered ancestry. :P

Efendi . . . I swear that surname is familiar to me and Konya? Renowned to have had lots of Jews previously. Nevermind . . . This Jew who had 'Efendi' was also partially Turkish.

Are you a mullah? No, i am not Muslim at all.
