On almost every Antho or ethno forum any discussion about British people, even if it is from an entirely objective point of view always has very visible under-tones of Anglophobia as if when discussing Brits people struggle to remain impartial and it seems many hateful and xenophobic attitudes towards British people are brewing beneth a veneer of civility.
Almost every other nationality can be discussed entirely impartially, but any discussion of Brits always turns into a fight with everyone throwing insults back and forth. I might said like I'm complaining, but the truth is I don't actually care what some foreigner thinks of my country, but I am just interested to know the reason why people struggle to discuss Brits from an impartial point of view. |

Being new to this forum ive noticed this on other forums aswell (especially football forums lol), I don't really know why as insults are always thrown out without reason. People are always jealous of what they perceive as more important countries then theirs I think(take fact alot of people hate USA). But otherwise I don't know would be nice to know...
