Alhaji Aliko Dangote, a Nigerian businessman certainly has managed to maintain his top position for being the richest man within the African province, as said according to Forbes magazine in its 2012 edition for the top 40 richest people in Africa.

He is a well known billionaire in the globe placing himself in the 76th position. He is holding $12 billion as net from $10.1 since 2011 November.

It is certain that this is his best time. it is also known that his most shares are traded publicly via Dangote cement that is active in around 14 countries around Africa.

South Africa’s Nick Oppenheimer is second on the list with assets worth $6.4 billion in fortune, below nearly $100 million assets as compared to last year.

A Nigerian defense minister General Theophilis Danjuma who is 73 years old is placed on the 24th position holding net worth $600 million from oil industry.
