About 250,000 out of one million Malawians who are HIV positive are reported to have access to free anti-retroviral (ARV) drugs. The southern African country's Secretary for Nutrition, HIV and AIDS, Mary Shawa, said the 77 percent of the people on the free drugs were leading normal lives.
