On Wednesday, January 7, Professor John Evans Attah-Mills will be sworn-in as Ghana's fifth democratically elected President after the end of military rule in 1992. Attah-Mills was yesterday declared winner of the tightly contested presidential election by the Chairman, Ghana's Electoral Commission, Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan having defeated Nana Akufo-Addo, candidate of the ruling party, New Patriotic Party (NPP).
