The senior military officer who is alleged to have stolen President Paul Biya's briefcase has been dismissed form the military corps. In a presidential decree, Lt Colonel Luc Emane was accused of indiscipline and sent on forceful retirement. The presidential fiat did not specify whether he was entitled to any retirement benefits.
