Some South Americans, specially Colombians... also Mongolians, Iranians , Lebanese..

Countries I feel related to: Macedonia, Poland, Belarus, Greece, Bulgaria, Moldavia, Ukraine..

But besides Brazil, for me to feel "at home".. just by looking to my flags (proudly raised) here and you'll figure out. And it has everything to do with ethnicity, culture, heart..whatever you name it.

Americans, infact ive begun putting American on papers that ask for race lol.

I'm often moderately liberal so sometimes fellow Americans can piss me off with idiotic statements or religious stupidity but i still love em Americans are adorable.

Next would probably be Canada. Not because of my father's ties to the country but because they are really similiar to Americans espeacialy Americans from the Northern areas and i love Hockey so it works well. Despite my dad being Swedish born & my mother being first generation. I really don't feel all that close to swedes. I even refuse to learn the language although thats mainly because of laziness and i find learning it useless. Personaly besides experiences with my own family. My experiences with Swedes on the internet have mostly been bad. In other words a lot of them were assholes except for one.

I typicaly favor the British when it comes to foreigners. It seems like British people are just soooooo nice and hilarious on average. Ive never argued with a Brit. Never had any problems with them. My best friend is a Black Brit who relocated from the country to California. Love her to death.

Probably all the other British nations first, they are basically kin, then commonwealth countires, Australia, New Zealand, the Canada, then America...

In Europe, the Beligians are quite similar and Ive always got on with them, then, suprisingly maybe France and Spain, alongside Norway/Denmark and Germany/Holland, I feel somehow connected to these people on a cultural, maybe also genetic level due to our history. I also have an affinity for Portugal, we have the longest continual alliance recorded in the world with them, since the 13th Century to date as I believe, we've defeated many enemies together.

The cultural distance is never far in europe though and I feel some kinship to most groups on the continent.

PS - really forgot South Afirca, Zimbabwe etc also.

Not too many really.
My own people offcourse (including Zaza-Kurds), Armenians, and sometimes Jews/Israelis.
Persians (+other Iranic people perhaps) too, but lately that has decreased; because of the shelling of Iraqi Kurdistan by Iran. I'm also not sure in what degree they see us as brothers, I think most regard us positively, but there's also quite a number who dislike us and see themselves as superiour.
Oh, and Alevis too, to some degree.

I guess I also have a weaker connection to Belgians and the Dutch, and the MENA.

Considering the fact that I am agnostic it may look weird, but out of all divisions I feel connected to christian/postchristian countries. For instance, in Asia- Philipinos and Malesians are probably very similar, but I feel connected to former but not the latter.
( I could say exceptions are Israel, Japan and Turkey)

Another connection would be Europe.

so you're not a pan-latinist?
I always thought Latin Americans were pan-latinist(except Argentinians/Uruguayans)

No, I am not, I identify as PR before latino, but PR can relate in lifeways and culture to coastal South American and central American nations like Panama, Colombia and venezuela.
lol Do you really think PR is more related to Panama, Colombia, and Venezuela than DR and Cuba? That seems like a stretch.

I was also wondering how DR and Cuba didn't make the list, but not my area of expertise.

This is like the time I asked my PR friend if his home food was anything like Cuban food? He got defensive about it. I didn't understand why. So basically I just don't ask him questions like that anymore.

Most Euros I guess, except maybe Muslim Albanians/Bosnians... I wish I felt more connected to Latinos though, but I think many of them don't really take me seriously cuz I don't speak Spanish very well, I bet it would be different if I did..?
