http://www.popsci.com/scitech/articl...us-your-brains Whenever wealthy people collect, charities go wishing to get contributions of money and time. But Chris Nowinski is wondering NFL people at the Super Bowl this weekend for something a little more private. He wants their brains to be donated by them to technology. And he's getting what he needs. Nowinski is the creator of the Sports Legacy Institute ( SLI), which along side the Boston University School of Medicine is doing autopsies on former players to analyze the result of concussive influences. Up to now eight former NFL players have offered to give their brains to research after their death. Nowinski is just a former professional wrestler who knows first hand the possible effects of mind impacts... Being an interesting side note, equally Shawn Andrews (Eagles) and Tavaris Jackson (Vikings) provided, but were denied because of 'inadequate skills.'
