How a man can attain Siddhi ?...

Is it really possible to have an infinitate weight and be able to move instantly anywhere ?...

What were Siddha's?

The Siddha's, or "perfected ones" developed a system of all sciences known as the Siddha system which can be traced to the pre-vedic period. The word "Siddha" is derived from its root, "siddhi" which generally refers to the perfection of the aims of yogic self discipline, or to one of the eight kinds of supernatural powers attainable by man.

The Siddhas were scientists, particularly in their investigations into chemistry, astronomy, plants, human anatomy and physiology. They applied their extraordinary powers, developed through intensive yogis practices, to research these areas on atomic and universal levels without the use of sophisticated equipment. In the long linege of Siddhas, one does not know when they came into earth's existance. Whether they still exist or are they Ascended masters teaching humanity the various sciences and philosophy, will perhaps, be never known.

The Siddhas demonstrated how medicine may work in unison with metaphysics. physical and psychic organism as the perfectly functioning vehicle of the divine life-spark within. The very essence of reality is found in Medicine. It provides man with a adequate instrument towards gaining the most high experiences. The metaphysical aim was Medical knowledge that it provide a sound physic for the realization of divine truth. To ultimately attain the status of the enlightened. Only by caring for his mortal body is man able to arrive at the realization of his highest potentialities.

Ancient Chemistry and Alchemy

Although Chemistry has come to be known as an exact science within a comparatively recent period, yet its origin dates back to the earliest times of philosophical study. The word `Chemistry' is closely associated with that of Alchemy. India has the beginnings of Chemistry as a Science

In the Siddha system, Chemistry was developed as a auxiliary science to Medicine and Alchemy. It was found useful in the preparation of medicines for curing all sorts of sufferings. Be it spiritual or corporeal. In transmutation of baser metals into gold. The knowledge of plants and minerals was of highest order. The processes like calcination of mercury, minerals and metals and the preparation of a super salt, which are Mercury pills with high potency. They possessied marvellous properties of transmuting metals and were capable of rejuvenating the entire human system.

Using special salts as well as herbal formulae the Siddhas developed the unique science of rejuvenation, known as "kaya kalpa", which allowed them to prolong their lives until the long term effects of Kriya Kundalini Pranayama and similar yogic practices could complete the process of transformation, bringing about physical immortality.

Siddhas followed the ancient Guru- disciple apprenticeship method. They revealed their secrets to those students whom they felt could be trusted not to misuse the science. The science of Kaya kalpa was limited to those great sages. who were prepared for the uplifting of humanity. Ayurveda came much later as discipline. Immortal Life
"Siva Siddhar"

In the teachings of the Siddhas the human body is a temple of God.
Man is a miniature representation of Paramatma or Supreme Intelligence.
The purpose of life is to realize God.
To manifest that realization in all planes of existence.

With the practice of Kriya Yoga man could get over the five limitations of "gray hair, dim vision, old age, disease, and death". The Siddhas stated that Man could maintain eternal youth. Several principal psychological energy centers, known as chakras, when stimulated by yogic practices awaken one's higher spiritual faculties.

Siddhantham bring about the final perfection in the realization
and manifestation of The Divine or Truth. Perfecting these practices,
these eight great supernatural powers"Siddhis" may manifest.

The Eight Supernatural Powers.

Anima: the power of becoming as small as the atom, at will.

Karima: the power of becoming heavy at will.

Lahima: Lightness the power of becoming as light as a feather.

Mahima: Expansion, the power of expanding oneself without limit.

Prapthi: the faculty of knowing the past, present and future
and to be able to do Astral Travel, even to other planets and stars.

Prahamiyarra: the power to achieve all one's desires
and absolute keenness of the mind and senses.

Esathuvam: supreme power over both animate and inanimate objects throughout the universe.

Vasithuvam: the power of command over all by thought or word.

Throughout the writings of the Siddhas, their greatest achievement is Immortal Life. In Tamil literature The sign of "soruba rnukti" i.e. true liberation of body and spirit, the physical body glows with the fire of immortality. The span of life is inversely proportional to the rate of breathing. There is truth of this great law in practicing the Kriya Kundalini Pranayama.

The 'Siva Siddhar'

The joining of Spirit to Spirit, Shiva and Shakti ,
The yoga Siddhas teach that there is deathless perfection of body here on earth.
