I don't always believe the popular term 'born in a man's body'. Why not? because it is known in Thailand that a lot of ladyboys aren't real ladyboys. Example: at university they wear skirts, bras, adorn make-up (no operation) then a few years later they are wearing a shirt, tie and married with 2 kids!! Having the operation, is the way to truly differentiate.
Don't believe the hype, a lot of so-called ladyboys in Thailand aren't as 'ladyboyish' as they make out!

There is IMHO a range of sexualities. We shouldn't try to pigeonhole everyone.
It seems to me there are true transsexuals [and this is what I think as "ladyboys"], then there are crossdressers (these can be heterosexual as well as homosexual people), then there are homosexuals [and a wide range of such, e.g effeminates, machomen, and everything in between]. And there are probably variations in between. Of course there are bi-sexuals and heterosexuals and autoerotics, et c. et c.

Can someone enlighten me as to how lesbianism is accepted (or not) and how these women live and work in daily life?? It seems the discussion to date has centered on men.
