Thanks, Anatta.

Yes, I'm quite sure it was money. It was the owner of the club...he took the money from the dancing women and then danced around happy to have all the money. He then counted it out and divided it up with his associates.
Sorry to be a thread buster but what does ''lakorn'' mean? I've seen it in a few threads now.

Are you sure they're blurring out bank notes, not drugs, alcohols, or weapons? Sure, the censorship in Thailand right now has become very ridiculous and idiotic in some cases, but I see no reasons to blur out bank notes. However, if those notes are related to illegal businesses in the lakorn then that may be a possible explanation, but still very unusual anyway. But I'm quite certain that they're not doing that in respect for HM the King.

....and another blurring that made me chuckle. In my most recent lakorn viewing, they blurred out a gun when it was pointed at a person, but not when it was just in someone's hand. So there would be the bad guys holding guns....they spy the person they want to threaten. Up goes arms, and suddenly at the end of the arms...it's all blurry!

Default Blur out the money
I was watching a lakorn last night and they kept bluring something out of the scene. I couldn't figure out what it was for the first 10 minutes or so, and then realized they were blurring out the money! I don't remember seeing that in other lakorn(although my the lakorn I've watched didn't transact much money). Is it out of respect for HM the King's image on the bank notes?

If so, do they blank out postage stamps?

A Lakorn ละคร is a style of TV programme that would be known in English as a 'soap opera'. The word literally means a play or a stage performance.

In Thailand, there's one production rule for take photography or motion picture of Thai bank note for commercial purpose or marketting medias that - we can't show bank note's side with HM the King's image for every medias.
