Dear Friends on the Forum,
Join the fun for India's prosperity. (Women employees of several software companies in the city take part in a rally on Wednesday, supporting Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption campaign, near Banjara Hills in Hyderabad) 18SOFTWARE.jpg. Pic courtesy DC. Taking time off work? Looks like these ladies are really enjoying joining the fun outdoors. Is it the way to India’s prosperity? In few days time no one in India will be working? Yesterday India was #165 in the world-GDP $3.608per capita. Today #195 ? Rajpriya |

Dear Friends In The Forum, It's Nice to join in a Rally On good reasons, For the prosperity of India. Dear friend on the forum, It is nice to join a rally for good reasons and especially when it comes to a country’s’ prosperity. But the picture I attached showing some IT employees in Hyderabad coming out to support Anna Hazare was just a days fun. I am sure they are back at work today. It takes time for any protest to be successful. It must be well organized. It must have lots and lots of mass support. The percentage of people taking part in Anna’s protest is so small that the Govt. chooses to ignore it. In the history of this world very few protests have succeeded. Those that succeeded had enormous support of the masses. I am sure you have heard of the Tiananmen Square massacre in 1976 and 1987, a protest that had mass support but failed. Never before had the People's Liberation Army turned its weapons on the Chinese people with the intention of murdering so many of them. A 300,000 strong People's Liberation Army broke up the protesters with batons and tear gas not guns and tanks. Though this kind of brutality is unlikely to happen in India, Anna protest lacks mass support. At the moment the scale is heavily tipped on the Government’s.,side. Poruthadhu Pothum Mahane Pongielu.
