After all life cannot be as bad as it is made out to be in India. Look at the statistics I provide below after an extensive google search. Most recent statistics reveal matters that irk India are just a handful. 84 countries are worse than India in corruption and what can Anna Hazare’s problem be?

India is one of the poorest countries in the world. A new multidimensional poverty Index shows that India is far poorer than Africa in both intensity and in number. The Multidimensional Poverty Index developed by Oxford University (which will appear in the upcoming UNDP human development report) shows that India is far poorer than Africa not just in number but also in intensity. The new poverty measure shows that 8 states out of the 29 states in India have more poor people than 26 poorest African countries combined.

The Government must encourage people to go on "fast unto death” actions by increasing corruption that could allow further control because in relation to countries where most suicides are committed India is a distant 81st.

India produces the most number of movies than any other country in the world.
Therefore, While India’s citizens loudly disapprove their politicians making money illegally, India’s people allow Actors and Actresses make enormous amounts money legally or money under the table (illegally) supporting the film industry.

It is after all only a different way of living and if they go to the cinemas; it may be good entertainment and would make them forget food. In India most people are thin. The fat people are mostly politicians and rich people.

#166 in Health statistics. Life expectancy at Birth. An average Indian lives 66.8 years.
