Don't mean to get into a geek battle, but i don't think Triumph meant for him to have any "greater friends". Look at the Star Wars ppl and the context of the whole sketch."return of the dorks" They aren't supposed to have friends other than the ppl who talk about star wars in the geeky fashion they talk about it... So if everybody is just as geeky and there are no lesser life forms than those of the ppl standing in the line, so then, he technically has no friends.
Gawd.. Now i'm beginning to sound geeky...

Hahaha - [geekbattleMode=on]

So, the guy says that he does NOT deal with lower life forms. For him to be lonely, he'd have to be the highest life form (or pretty high up there) - everything would be lower than him and he wouldn't deal with them.

If he were the lowest life form, everything else would be higher than him. Since he did not say "I don't deal with higher life forms", he could, presumably, deal with them and not be lonely.

[geekbattleMode=off]

But, yeah, I guess he could have been insulting the other geeks around the guy instead of the guy himself. That would work, too.

It is pretty geeky to argue about what a stuffed dog puppet said as he was making fun of Star Wars geeks. But at least we're not arguing about Star Wars *shiver*.

Well, the guy says "I don't deal with lesser life forms" meaning, supposedly, that he does deal with greater life forms. If he was the lowest life form, he could deal with anyone and he wouldn't be lonely - if he was the highest life form, he could deal with no one and he would be lonely. So, it's actually opposite of what you think it is. It always sticks out to me because I think it's the only time I've seen Triumph screw up.

This is what happens when I don't watch conan o'brien. haha

"You don't deal with lesser life forms? You must be a lonely guy." haha

Tim
I have held this video as the pinnacle of comedy for years now, but the above quote about lesser life forms - I just don't get it. Is he saying that the guy is so highly advanced that everyone is lesser than he is? If so, it's a compliment - which is not funny for an insult comic dog *grin*.

"You want a spoiler?!?! You will die alone!"
"That is the last time he will see female genitalia!"
It's just genius.

didnt they just put out a dvd of triumphs best moments or something like that? i remember watching the show and conan continuously tried to plug the dvd while will ferrel shot the drummer or something like that.

maybe im just mashing multiple episodes together.
Yeah, there's a dvd - it even has the appearance with the model Fabio (who gets seriously upset at him for a certain comment). The first Westminster dog show, the Star Wars one and the Bon Jovi one are the best by far. The guy is so fast it's amazing.

You guys should also try to look for the ones he interviewed Bon Jovi, pissed Eminem off, and the Westminster dog show reports. They're absolutely hilarious. What most brilliant about Triumph is he thinks these stuff on the spot! Genius!
