1 = Ichi - 'eech'
2 = Ni - 'nee'
3 = San - 'san'
4 = Shi - 'she'
5 = Go - 'go' (short 'o')
6 = Roku - 'rok' (again, short 'o')
7 = Shichi - 'sheech'
8 = Hachi - 'hach'
9 = Kyu or Ku - 'queue' or 'koo'
10 = Ju - 'jew'
