Ah, GnR. Fantastic. I remember seeing them at Donington Park in the late 80s. THe same time as they filmed the video for Paradise City...

I was about your age...

just a friendly thread about blink does anyone knonw about em in japan and who else other than me thinks travis barker is the best drummer in the world
I myself am a drummer and I think taht Travis is probably one of the better, maybe one of the best drummers out there right now in his genre and in pop rock. Excellent fills, inventive beats, and his wife is totally hot too! Loved her pictorial in Playboy!

hmmm blink 182, srry i hav a low opinion of they, don't know their music just gets on my nerves, you need to listen to some good bands e.g. Guns n Roses etc.
Did you see the "Return of Guns 'n Roses" during a MTV event? Holy crap! They couldn't sing and play their instruments at all, lol I remember my old punk rock days... Blink 182 was okay, I only liked a few songs by them... now it's over. Now I prefer some Opeth, Dark Tranquility, and Dimmu Borgir thank you

Blink 182 Sucks!!! When they first came out they were cool- back when they were still sort of Punk. I even saw them play at warped tour back in '99. They have evloved, owever, into such a gay ass whiney band with not enough talent to really pull it off. They are not in high school anymore- stop it!!! Now travis barker is a decent drummer and maybe now that Blink is history he can concentrate on some good projects like what he is doning in the transplants. Now if you want to hear some good punk drummers I think Bret Reed from rancid rocks. Josh Freese from the Vandals is an AMAZING drummer. I dunno. Blink 182 to is just lame, like the backstreet boys with guitars. Her & what the hell happened to green day. They turned gay too! Ugh!!!!

I'm not a big fan but I like Old Metallica. Not the new ones, especially St Anger which sounds like songs rejected by Limp Biskit for being too lame.

Go Pixies and Death From Above 1979!
What I found really strange about St. Anger was they said this album's gonna sounds like Messhuggah... when I heard the 2 seconds in one song where they TRIED to be Messhuggah, they really gave me a good laugh

Nicko Mcbrain from Iron maiden is a pretty exceptional drummer.
