I had this virus a few months ago. I also had what apparantly was a rare variant of it and this tool didn't work for me, however, it's worked for a lot of people. If this doesn't work for you I can give you the method that I used to disable it, which is a little complicated, but not brain surgery. You see what happens is instead of the virus running it's own process, it hooks itself into explorer.exe, so you cant just end it and delete it. Even if you do manage to delete the dll, it's still rooted in your registry and system restore, and it will come back to haunt you quite quickly... |
