I hope you stay safe! My sister lives in Houston and she is leaving tonight to a friends house farther inland.

What makes this storm even worse is that I already have family that was displaced because of Katrina...now Rita is displacing my sister right now. I just hope that her apartment is fine and that she will be able to continue medical school soon since she is scheduled to graduate this summer.

Be safe - stay dry! You're already in God's Country (Texas), so everything should work out just fine!

Dont know havent been back.

Im going to make a rude commentary but ive had it up to my ears with this BULLSH**.

Why is it that new orleans is somehow more important than SETexas? The hurricane destroys there city....its a tragedy. It destroys mine and all there worried about is the damn oild refinaries.

They also worried about the oil refinaries in New Orleans, too. But I feel for you with these kinds of craps. People don't give a shit unless it affects them, it's a reality. I'm glad that you're safe Take good care and I wish you the best for everything
