Isn't there a really deep spiritual/mental/meditative side to Origami? I need to do some major research soon.... As far as finding print out papers with lots of colors, dotted lines and numbers to follow, I would just head to a local book store ^^.

I hear, if you fold 1000 paper cranes, a wish you make will come true.

That's called a tsen-ba-tsuru

After the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki there was a girl in one of the hospitals because of the radiation illness and she started to fold the 1000 cranes, which according to the tradition should be folded in the same room, sadly she passed away before she finished them and friends or family finished them for her and if I'm not mistaken they were placed in a temple.

I passed for my NOA(Nippon Origami Assosation) exam at age 16 and I'm still doing origami, I might still have some stuff scanned in which I was planning to clear up but I'm not sure about this, send me a PM. I'm at the office now.

It's not that hard, maybe you should try using paper instead of cardboard

Hehe, you can't learn from websites, books or videos - you need a sensei...

Check out the 'self teaching' threads here on KWF...

Tuesday I'll be off my nightshifts I could see if what I have scanned in and what the best wat would be to share it with all that would be interested.

It's a beginners course and I do know I took of all dutch writing and all the clutter from the scanning as it was from colored paper.

I've been doing origami now for about 18 year but things like that dragon, I've done a pegasus out of 1 piece before and all kinda animals and kushudama's.
