Default Apologies to all that do Kendo
Hello All,

I'd like to take this opportunity to say sorry to anyone that i might have offended from my first thread,(very new to kendo require advice).

I'd also like to say that i had my first lesson today, it was fantastic.

I started to learn how to move forwards and backwards (looks really easy) however this couldnt be further from the truth, started learning the 1st kata, again not as easy as it looks, how to hold and use a Boken/Shinai and cut Men, which was pretty cool.

Sensei had one of his students place me in there armour and demonstrate the verious cuts and strike points on me, so i get a good idea of what it feels like to be hit, which was very cool.

Further to my worries, i had a good chat to the sensei cleared up all my questions and in fact i feel pretty stupid now for worring, all members of the club are very welcoming and to my suprise quite a few of them havant being doing kendo all that long, mind you they look pretty awesome to me.

once again i apologies to all...
